Who I Am

My name is Irina “Riri” Lazar and I am a curator of experiential worlds. As a designer and cultural strategist, I transform spaces into living artworks — not as décor, but as a frequency, a narrative, and a medium for transformation.

I serve as Creative Director and cultural steward for private estates and social spaces. I work closely with principals to define the vision for a property, bringing together artists, designers, and craftspeople to realize it.

My intention is simple and unwavering: every space I touch makes people feel nurtured, inspired, and authentically expressed. For the past 25 years, I have traveled the world shaping experiences for clients including Habitas, Facebook, Petit Ermitage Hotel, Uber, Moby, Condé Nast, The Duchess Hotel, The Museum of Modern Art, Burning Man, Virgin, MAC Cosmetics, The Assemblage, Surface Magazine, MTV, Pepsi, Vice President Al Gore, the Tribeca Film Festival, Diesel, the San Francisco Ballet, the San Francisco Opera, and the San Francisco Symphony, as well as founders, CEOs, and venture capitalists in Silicon Valley—and many others across cultural, creative, and hospitality landscapes.

Over the last decade, I transitioned into design — first by opening my own nightclub, restaurant, and rooftop lounge in Mexico City, and then by stewarding design and experience for high-net-worth clients on large-scale estates.

My gift is sensory intelligence. I shape spaces that feel meaningful, alive, and in harmony with the people who inhabit them. At its highest expression, my work is about stewardship — guiding capital, creativity, and place into alignment so that beauty, culture, and human connection can flourish.
